Must-Have: Ability to read telemetries and comfort with chest tubes

Care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including COPD, CHF, Diabetes, sepsis, renal failure, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, overdoses, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions.
Provide care for neuro, surgical, and cardiac patients.
Utilize equipment such as Bipap, CPAP, tracheostomies, chest tubes, NG tubes, PICC lines, and central lines.
Care may include managing patients post-ablation or cath lab procedures and those requiring dialysis.
Engage with computerized charting and medication systems including EPIC and Pyxis.
Work three 12-hour shifts with rotating nights, weekends, and holidays.
Travel staff may float to other units or departments as needed based on their experience level.
The unit consists of 32 beds, all private rooms.
Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 3-4 patients per nurse.
Orientation includes one day of training with the education team and one day on the floor.
