Part Time Registered Nurse - Medicine Unit- Night Shift

Job Overview The RN independently provides direct nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices.

Location Mother Infant Unit - Main Campus

Hours and Shift 24 hours, part-time; Nights 7:00PM-7:00AM

Career Pathway Levels Level I – Less than 12 months RN experience

Level II – 12 months to less than 3 years RN experience

Level III – 3 years to less than 8 years RN experience

Level IV – 8 years or more RN experience

Minimum Qualifications Massachusetts RN Licensure

12 months to less than 3 years of RN experience

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Department specific certifications relevant to the department and type of patient care may be required

Required Qualifications Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing

BSN strongly preferred; Associate’s degree considered and encouraged to enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of hire

Minimum 1-2 years in telemetry or intermediate care setting preferred

BLS required; ACLS preferred
