Description

Conduct thorough evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft tailored treatment strategies
Implement physical therapy techniques emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and at-home exercise programs
Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress in alignment with facility and regulatory protocols
Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure a cohesive approach to care
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from a recognized institution

Certifications
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification preferred
Specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric are a plus but not mandatory
