About Nantucket Crisps Nantucket Crisps is a premium, island-inspired potato chip brand founded by childhood friends who spent their summers on Nantucket and turned those experiences into a snack company. Made with 100% avocado oil and known for a distinctively thin, crispy chip, the brand pairs a genuinely superior product with storytelling people want to be part of: flavours named for the island's beaches, partnerships with nationally touring bands, and a give-back mission supporting North Atlantic Right Whale conservation.
What started with a Nantucket pitch contest win is now a fast-growing brand on shelves at premium grocers across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southern California, with major new retail partners launching soon. Backed by a leadership team of CPG industry veterans, Nantucket Crisps has big plans and we're looking for the person who will help make them happen.
The Role You’ll be the first hire in our newly formed marketing function, reporting to the CEO.
That means you’ll be hands-on across the full spectrum of CPG marketing. In a given day, you might go from writing the brief for a new packaging design to packing press kits for a product launch. This role touches virtually all facets of marketing in some way and is an unusual opportunity to build deep, wide expertise fast. Build and maintain sales decks, sell sheets, and buyer-facing materials that win at retail
Shopper marketing: Develop retailer-focused programming that drives trial and velocity
Insights: Turn syndicated and retailer data into a regular reporting rhythm that informs distribution growth, portfolio decisions, and brand strategy
E-Commerce: Manage external Amazon agency while coordinating between supply chain and fulfillment teams and design partners; this role will also oversee D2C (Shopify) and wholesale platforms like Faire and Mable
Support innovation pipeline and packaging projects, maintaining brand consistency across core flavours and LTOs
Communications: Help shape and execute our communication strategy alongside experienced external PR and brand partners, building structure across social, website, digital marketing and PR
Marketing ops: Manage budgets, vendors, and asset organization - bringing structure and process to a fast-moving function
We’re a small team and everyone pitches in, whether it’s sending a VIP care package or organizing a team offsite
The Ideal Candidate 2-5 years of marketing experience, ideally in CPG, brand marketing, or agency
Highly organized, with the ability to juggle many diverse projects at once
Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen, Circana) a plus
Process-oriented, with a natural instinct to create order and structure
Able to work in our Wakefield, MA office 3 days per week
Compensation $65k - $75k commensurate with experience, plus up to 30% bonus and comprehensive benefits.
