Painter - Full time temporary

PainterWeatherTech is seeking a well-qualified Painter to prepare, drywall, tape, and paint interior and exterior surfaces in our production and warehouse facilities. This is a great opportunity to join the WeatherTech team!As a Painter, you will:Use a variety of methods and techniques to drywall, tape, and paint interior and exterior surfacesSet up and prepare tools, equipment, materials, and work surfaces/areas for paintPaint walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns; mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistencyOperate a variety of painting tools, hand tools, and power tools to perform and complete assigned tasksPerform the job of the Laborer as needed, as outlined in the Laborer job descriptionTrain new and existing team members on different functions of the work area(s) to ensure all can perform each task properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivityPerform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/proceduresEnsure safety and quality control for activities and personnelKeep work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and orderly conditionWork a full-time schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekendsPerform other duties as assignedQualified Candidates will:Have 3-5 years of experience painting interior and exterior surfaces, drywall hanging, and taping; industrial and commercial experience a plusKnowledge of proper use of materials, supplies, and basic safety procedures used in construction workMust have high attention to detail to observe work for quality and accuracyHave excellent communication and interpersonal skillsHave a strong work ethic and the ability to work independentlyPossess excellent stamina and strength to perform constant strenuous manual laborDemonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitudeBe able to pass a pulmonary function testPossess a valid driver's license and clean driving recordBe authorized to work in the United StatesWhy you'll love working at WeatherTechWeatherTech is proud to offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for internal promotions and skill development, and clean and safe workspace.
