ASCP - Histology Technician - FT Full-Time Respected Health System
MLR is partnering with a respected health system to recruit a meticulous Histology Technician for a full-time, permanent role. Prepare high-quality histologic slides for microscopic examination through tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
Assist with specialized staining procedures, including immunohistochemistry, for detailed tissue analysis.
Accurately label, document, and track specimens, ensuring the integrity of patient information and test results.
Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting of findings.
Stay updated on the latest histology techniques, safety regulations, and ASCP certification standards.
ASCP Histology Technician Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology or a related field.
Certification: ASCP certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) is required.
PreferredMore than 1 year of experience in a histology lab setting.
