Electrical Engineer I
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Duration: 6-12 months
Pay Rate: $33.34-$35.72/hr.

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer I with 1-3 years of experience to support the testing, evaluation, and certification of digital sub-circuit designs for radio communication products. This role will work closely with electrical, software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams in a hands-on lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Test and evaluate digital sub-circuit-level designs and PCB changes.
Read schematics and navigate/review PCB layouts.
Perform in-circuit measurements and troubleshoot electrical design issues.
Complete certification test plans and assist with product validation.
Operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, bench power supplies, and other lab equipment.
Investigate and resolve design issues and support existing products.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on product requirements and design specifications.
Perform minor soldering and hands-on lab testing as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with digital circuits and digital board design.
• Proficiency reading schematics and reviewing PCB layouts.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other test equipment.
• Digital sub-circuit design and testing experience.
• Python experience required.
• C experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
