Symbotic isseekingan experienced and strategic Manager,SupplyPlanning to leadBot forecasting andbot spares/repairmaterial availability.This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations byensuring new Bot production capabilities meet customercommitmentsand existing fleets have the parts needed to run at their highest potential.The successful candidate willpossessexceptional communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with executive-level stakeholders and deliver results in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.This role willprovide direct leadership for our repair center Material Planners.
The Production Control team manages project-based planning and material execution for complex, customer-specific automation systems. This group oversees material coordination, supply execution, andlogisticsalignment to ensure materials and equipment are available when and where needed to support installation and commissioning. Production Control works closely with other Supply Chain teams, including Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier partners, to align demand, supply, and execution across large-scale customer projects.
Develop long-term bot forecastsand partner with operations partners to ensure production capacity is aligned for future growth.

Lead a team of Repair Center Material Plannersto ensure material availability at our repair centers.

Monitor and managebotpartinventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses, ensuring alignment with operational and customer requirements.This role will develop safety stock strategies targeted at keeping customer bot fleets operational.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingEngineering, Quality Manufacturing,Production,Procurement, andLogistics, to streamline supply chain processes and enhance efficiency.

Utilize SAP to create andmaintainaccuratematerial availability, track material movement, and analyze supply chain performance.

Serve as the primary liaison with executive-level stakeholders, delivering concise, data-driveninsightsand updates on material planning and operational performance.

Identifyand resolve bottlenecks or disruptions in the supply chain, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, reduce lead times, andoptimizeoverall supply chain operations with cross functional teams.

Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for planning and material management processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’sdegree preferred).

Minimum of 8 years in Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Inventory Management.

SAP experiencestronglypreferred.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven success in engaging and influencing executive-level stakeholders. This role will be customer-facing and requiresdemonstratedskill in interacting with customers/executive-level stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.

Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.

Certification in supply chain or production management (e.g., Up to20% of travel may berequired. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

The employeeis responsible forowning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $108,000.00 - $148,500.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
