Clinic Float Receptionist

The Receptionist greets and welcomes patients and visitors to the clinic, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor. appropriately handling phone calls; entering demographics, insurance, and other pertinent information in the Electronic Health Record and other various systems; Hours: Full Time 40 hours/week. The FLOAT Receptionist position requires daily travel to any location in the Medical group. Reliable transportation and flexible start and stop times for shifts is required.

Performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all steps necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and in compliance with all clinic and regulatory policies.

Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.

Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.

Copy/scan patient access related hardcopy materials (e.g. into the correct location in the electronic medical record.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.

Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire.

Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patient, visitors, and colleagues while performing their job duties.

Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
