Supplier Quality Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the quality standards necessary for our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with suppliers to implement quality assurance measures, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF 16949: 2016. Your expertise in quality management and supplier management will be critical in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain.
General Description:

To provide supplier development & process support to suppliers
Ensure supplied component adherence to design requirements
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform supplier audit activities including but not limited to design, reliability and functions of related manufactured parts and components.
Supplier development activities.
Participate in supplier evaluation meeting.
Reduce supplier PPM
Organize activities related to new part introduction including EWO.
Work with production facility to determine Root Cause Analysis of quality issues.
Maintain 100% on time PPAP submissions between company and supply base.
Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years experience in an materials environment preferred but not required
• Previous Engineering experience desired, preferably in an automotive environment.

High School Diploma
College degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience and training
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Ability to use various Microsoft based programs and or ERP programs
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze complex data.
Ability to work with various disciplines
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of AIAG standards
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Travel-Required as need for supplier compliance requirements.
