Dietary Aid, Temporary Full Time

As a non-profit, Friendship provides a caring community to serve a wide-range of residents including those with limited financial means. Friendship is looking for Full-Time Dietary Aides to join our Friendship Health and Rehab North team, located in Roanoke, VA The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing food service to residents, guests and employees under sanitary conditions and for providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
Shifts Available:

~ Full-Time: 8.5 hour shifts; Correctly and safely uses kitchen equipment and utensils for food preparation, service and cleaning
Abide by facility policies and procedures as well as laws and regulations related to food safety and sanitation
Prepares meal trays for residents according to diet list for each resident; Keeps kitchen clean and sanitized on a daily basis - prior to breaks and leaving for the day. Labels all food products for proper storage according to regulations
High school diploma or equivalent
Food service experience preferred
