Junior HR Generalist (Temp to Perm)

POSITION OVERVIEW The HR Analyst / Compensation & Business Analyst will support a collaborative HR team with reporting, data analysis, compensation initiatives, HR systems, and process improvement projects. The position will initially focus on administrative and reporting responsibilities while learning the organization’s systems and processes, with opportunities to take on more advanced analytical work over time. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional interested in developing deeper expertise across HR analytics, compensation, systems, and business operations.
PERKS Earn up to $30-$35 per hour in a dynamic HR analytics role. Gain hands-on exposure to compensation analysis, HR reporting, systems, and business analytics. Work alongside an established, collaborative HR team within a growing organization of approximately 460 employees. Temporary assignment with potential for extension and possible long-term employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES Run HR and employee reports through HRIS/payroll systems and analyze data for discrepancies, missing information, and trends.
Export, organize, and analyze HR and business data using Excel.
Assist with HR systems, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Develop and document HR processes while learning and utilizing new HR technology and AI tools.
Partner with HR leadership to research questions, investigate discrepancies, and resolve data and process issues.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required.
Demonstrated analytical or technical skills through HR analytics, reporting, compensation, benefits, systems, Excel/data analysis, process improvement, or other relevant professional or academic projects.
Strong interest in developing a career at the intersection of HR, analytics, compensation, and HR systems.
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to recognize inaccurate or incomplete data, investigate discrepancies, and ask thoughtful questions.
Experience with HRIS/payroll systems; COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This temporary position offers compensation of up to $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. There is also potential for a permanent opportunity depending on the long-term status of the position.
