As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) , you'll play a vital role in supporting adults with autism in a residential home setting. Every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact by helping residents build independence, confidence, and life skills while ensuring their health, safety, and well‑being.

Providing direct care and supervision in a residential home

Assisting with personal care and daily living activities

Administering and documenting medications

Providing transportation to appointments and community activities

Supporting the overall day‑to‑day operation of the residence

The individuals we support depend on caring professionals who are patient, reliable, and committed to making a difference. Whether you're experienced or new to the field, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Flexible in‑person interviews are available Monday through Friday at our administrative office in Morganville.

NHIA provides extensive hands‑on training to ensure every Direct Support Professional has the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to provide exceptional care and support. High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree (diploma or transcripts required)

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with individuals with autism

PPD Testing

Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour
