Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN Physician)

Job Title: Locum Physician - OB/GYN

Summary: Join us in Red Bluff, California, where we are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN for 24-hour call coverage. This position is available at a well-established community hospital known for its commitment to high-quality care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Job Responsibilities:

Provide full-scope OB/GYN services including deliveries (C-section/vaginal) and gynecological surgeries.

Respond to OB and Gyn ED calls, ensuring timely care and patient support.

Handle an average case load of 16-20 patients per day.

Work collaboratively with support staff, including a dedicated Medical Assistant and Practice Manager.

Participate in hospital credentialing and adhere to its requirements.

Qualifications:

Board Certified OBGYN preferred (Board Eligible may be accepted if currently on staff at another Joint Commission hospital without monitoring).

Active California Medical License is required.

Completion of residency in OB/GYN required.

Experience with BLS, DEA, and NRP/PALS certifications highly preferred.

Ability to provide clear availability for specified dates.

Clean malpractice and background history for credentialing preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

CA Medical License - REQUIRED

BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS certifications - Highly Preferred

Board Certification in OBGYN - Highly Preferred
