Dental Healthcare Hygienist

Perfect Teeth is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team and support our mission of delivering patient-centric, high-quality dental care. As a key clinical provider, you will perform comprehensive preventive and periodontal care, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planing, oral cancer screenings, and the application of sealants and fluoride. You will obtain and update medical and dental histories, take and interpret dental radiographs in collaboration with the dentist, and accurately chart existing conditions and treatment needs. The Dental Hygienist will educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, home-care routines, periodontal health, and the connection between oral and overall health, tailoring communication to a diverse patient population.

Working closely with dentists, dental assistants, and front office team members, you will help ensure a smooth patient flow, maintain a professional and welcoming environment, and contribute to an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include maintaining strict infection control and sterilization protocols, preparing and turning over operatories, managing hygiene schedules efficiently, documenting care in the practice management system, and supporting practice goals related to patient retention, recall, and case acceptance. You will participate in team huddles, contribute ideas for continuous improvement, and support new clinical initiatives and technologies introduced across the Perfect Teeth network.
