Commercial Lender Location: Employment Type: Full-Time

Our client, a well-established and privately-owned financial institution, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to join its commercial banking team. This role is well-suited to a relationship-oriented banking professional with a strong credit background and a demonstrated ability to grow and manage a commercial portfolio.

Portfolio Management - Oversee a portfolio of C&I and CRE clients, serving as the primary point of contact for loan and deposit relationship needs.

Credit Oversight - Partner with credit underwriting to prepare and recommend commercial loan requests, modifications, renewals, and monitoring reports. Apply sound financial statement analysis to support portfolio performance.

Operational Execution - Manage account overdrafts and approve customer wire transfers, ensuring all activity aligns with organizational policy and regulatory requirements.

Business Development - Identify and pursue new commercial loan and deposit opportunities through client meetings, professional networking, and community engagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Treasury Management, Trust & Wealth Management, and Private Banking partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Minimum 3 years of commercial banking or relationship management experience, with a demonstrated track record managing a loan and deposit portfolio

Strong credit and financial analysis skills, with familiarity in commercial lending structures
