As the central engine for the UAS School of Education, the Director of Operations keeps our academic mission thriving. In this role, you will direct end-to-end departmental operations: leading budget strategy, human resource workflows, course offerings, and administrative personnel to maintain seamless, high-integrity service.
High Impact: Direct essential functions across fiscal, HR, academic, and facility operations, driving decision-making that influences the whole department.
*Collaborative Leadership: Partner across the campus community—mentoring administrative staff, supporting faculty needs, and working alongside university leadership.

Lead Fiscal Management & Budgeting: Develop, forecast, and manage multi-fund budgets including general funds, grants, tuition revenue, and foundation accounts while overseeing purchasing and financial compliance.
- Manage Academic & Program Operations: Direct course scheduling, enrollment tracking, workload planning, accreditation systems, Title II reporting, facilities, and departmental records.
- Direct HR & Personnel Administration: Function as the primary HR Coordinator overseeing recruitment, appointment processes, labor agreements, contract generation, and timesheets across faculty and staff.
- Supervise & Empower Staff: Hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and mentor administrative staff, building a supportive, high-accountability team environment.
Broad, expert knowledge of academic operations, budget forecasting, internal controls, HR practices, and collective bargaining compliance.
- Analytical & Solutions-Driven: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a knack for managing competing deadlines, multi-variable priorities, and complex datasets.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, higher education administration, management, or a related field and five years of progressively responsible professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Must have progressively responsible experience in at least two of the following areas: fiscal management, human resources, organizational operations, student or academic services, compliance, or program administration.
This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package .
