Salary Range $35.00 - $45.00 Hourly
Sign On Bonus Eligible***
Shifts: 3 Nights/week; Shift Differential: $4.00/hour weekday nights; $6.00/hour weekend nights
Unlike traditional inpatient or hospital-based settings, our residential programming is housed in a warm, home-like environment that allows nurses to provide highly individualized, compassionate care while working as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team. Nurses in this setting collaborate alongside another nurse and receive support from on-call psychiatric providers, creating a balanced and clinically supported environment where meaningful therapeutic connections and whole-person care are prioritized. This role is ideal for nurses who value collaboration, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the mental and behavioral health field.
Provide nursing care to EDCare patients in conjunction with supervising physician. Complete daily nursing duties associated with eating disordered patients.
Daily nursing duties, including specimen collection, point of care lab testing, phlebotomy, medication administration, following through with orders, performing EKGs, observing and recording weights, vitals, bathroom observation, among other necessary patient care.

• Address patients' medical concerns and inquiries; requesting information and resources needed to provide care.
• Collaborate on care delivery by including milieu staff, physicians, interdisciplinary team and management in both service and patient care improvements; Provides knowledgeable and thorough nursing coverage in conjunction with other medical staff. Works assigned shifts, according to FTE.
• Adheres to Infection Control standards for EDCare. Educates and adheres to regulatory bodies, including but not limited to The Joint Commission, CDC & OSHA regarding monitoring infections in staff and patients.
• Provides patient education about medical complications of eating disorders.
• Timely completion and accuracy of clinical paperwork: nursing shift assessment, weights and vital signs, treatment plan, progress notes, etc.
• Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Colorado within 60 days of hire required.
• Experience in a mental or behavioral health setting preferred.

# Computer Skills:

• Minimum of beginner skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system.
• Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within various software products.

Sitting, standing, walking frequently during a 12 hour shift, talking frequently, hearing frequently, seeing constantly, reaching with arms and hands frequently, crouching occasionally and using fingers intricately. Environmental conditions of this job include but are NOT limited to:
99% inside, 99% normal temperature and 99% normal noise as expected in a medical office environment.
