Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Continental Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Burn care experience preferred. Wound care and ostomy care experience preferred.

Unit Details: Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, and 1-2 PCTs. Patient ratios: 6:1 with LPN. Uses Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA. Wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
