Overview

We are seeking a proven oil finder who can work seamlessly with integrated teams in San Antonio. This role generates large-scale unconventional oil and gas prospects and executes highly active drilling programs. The candidate will handle a high volume of data and work with reservoir, land, and operations engineering personnel to take prospects from concept through completion in a fast-paced drilling program. The position requires unconventional resources experience, familiarity with computer-based geological applications, and excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Generate large-scale unconventional oil and gas prospects.

Execute highly active drilling programs.

Handle high volume data and incorporate geology and engineering data.

Collaborate with reservoir, land, and operations engineering personnel to transition prospects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

MS degree in Geology.

Minimum 5 years of oil and gas prospecting experience in a variety of structural and stratigraphic styles.

Proven ability to determine horizontal development locations and conduct reservoir evaluation.

Experience with unconventional resources and computer-based geological applications.

Excellent presentation skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
