Everforth ECS is seeking a Technical Writer to work remotely .
A technical writer will research and produce clear, accurate documentation for federal programs, policies, or technical systems. This role requires close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), program managers, and legal teams to transform dense regulatory or technical concepts into plain-language materials.
Document Creation & Revision: Write, edit, and format standard operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals, policy handbooks, and executive correspondence.
Compliance & Standards Editing: Translate technical or legal jargon into accessible formats for non-technical stakeholders, leadership, and congressional audiences.
Manage document libraries, track revisions, and maintain configuration control across multi-author projects.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Writing & Editing Competency: Exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and lineage editing using major style guides (e.g., Regulatory Knowledge: Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and desktop publishing tools.
