This role requires a strong leader with a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial management, including a background in accounting, budgeting, and payroll. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director of Finance include financial management, departmental oversight, purchasing, student accounts, and compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves supervising the finance staff, managing cash flow and liquidity, and identifying areas for financial performance improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an MBA or CPA being a plus, and possess strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and proficiency in financial software. They must be an excellent communicator, with the ability to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within the finance team and across other departments.
