Mail Room Handler

This position is responsible for delivering and picking up mail, packages and equipment throughout the USF St. Petersburg campus community.

This position is responsible for delivering and picking up mail, packages and equipment throughout the USF St. Petersburg campus community. The operation of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift, along with operation of motor vehicles and golf carts are required for this position. Receives scientific, educational, maintenance and office equipment and supplies. Log in packages and generate delivery tickets for accountable packages.

Check UPS and Postal websites for new shipping and mailing regulations.

Input data entry for daily ticket logs and daily count sheets. Cleans mailroom and loading dock.

Monitor all mailroom communications and respond as required to communications addressed to them.

Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Qualification: One or more years of mailroom and/or shipping & receiving experience. Courier service or postal delivery experience. One of more years of office experience to include copying, filing and computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Forklift operation experience.
