About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join a nationally accredited, multidisciplinary cancer care program serving a large and diverse patient population. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to advanced oncology treatments and technologies.
Provide oncology care primarily at one location with coverage across multiple clinic sites as needed
Deliver patient- and family-centered care in a team-based environment
Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and experienced clinical staff
Support a full spectrum of oncology services including infusion therapy, radiation oncology, genetic testing, surgical oncology, and clinical trials
Participate in patient education, care coordination, and treatment planning
Work closely with hospitalists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Contribute to a supportive culture focused on quality outcomes, innovation, and compassionate care
Qualification:
Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (required)
Active Iowa and Illinois licenses (or willingness to obtain)
Minimum 3–5 years of Oncology Nurse Practitioner experience (RN experience not counted)
DEA and controlled substance registration (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Willingness to travel between multiple clinic locations
Clean malpractice history preferred
Strong commitment to team-based, patient-focused oncology care
