Job Description This Faculty position is involved in Clinical Facilitation. assigns nursing students to each clinical rotation and provides on-going clinical faculty oversight

to clinical sites. maintained with current clinical placement sites, and actively seeking new clinical sites for future

The Clinical Facilitator completes clinical call sheets when site visits occur

Clinical Facilitator is also responsible for teaching the didactic portion of one course per term.

1. Ascertain the clinical needs of faculty and students;
2. Facilitate orientation for clinical faculty through Orientation personnel;

1. Maintain a schedule for faculty and students to demonstrate and explain specific clinical
2. Coordinate resources for faculty;
3. Supervise the preparation of materials related to clinical sites, faculty, and agency
4. Supervise designated faculty member in follow-up on clinical faculty and students in

clinical sites;

1. Maintain clear and timely communication with clinical site coordinators;
2. Participate in preparing the annual budget for clinical faculty needs;
3. Coordinate communication with clinical faculty and students in clinical areas;
4. Establish clinical sites sufficient to provide students with clinical experiences required to

meet graduate competencies and outcomes;

1. Organize the administration of and follow-up on student and faculty clinical evaluations;
2. Participate in faculty committee activities related to the revision and updating of clinical
