Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30). Candidates will work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our High Risk Labor & Delivery unit. This position demands a candidate with strong competencies in high acuity environments and a passion for maternal and newborn care. The RN will function in the role of Baby Nurse during deliveries and provide ongoing care for newborns.
Responsibilities
Care for midwifery clients and support private OB patients.
Assist in adult recovery services focusing on substance recovery.
Floats as needed to sister facilities covering Maternal/Child Health.
Perform newborn care including assessments and administration of Vitamin K, Heparin, and other medications as required.
Work within AWHONN guidelines for staffing and patient care.
Maintain electronic fetal monitoring and utilize EPIC EMR system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery settings, with a strong preference for candidates with 5 years of experience.
Current RN licensure and required certifications: BLS, NRP.
ACLS and AWHONN certifications preferred.
Proof of supervisory references and required certificates must accompany submission.
Candidates must successfully pass a clinical review.
