Registered Nurse - Telemetry/MedSurg - Weekend Nights

Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team. This role will focus on caring for adult to geriatric patient populations, managing a variety of diagnoses including diabetes, post-operative care, wound vacs, and bariatrics.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a medical-surgical environment
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans accordingly
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Utilize electronic health record systems (Epic) for documentation and patient management
Assist in the management of patients with various medical conditions
Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience with electronic health records (Epic) is essential
Work Environment
This position will require working in a Medical-Surgical/Remote Telemetry unit with a ratio of 1:5-6, accommodating a 33-bed capacity with an average daily census of 28 patients.
Scheduling Information

Shifts will be 3x12 hours during the night (19:00 - 07:00)
Must be available to work every other weekend
Holidays: Expected to work one major holiday per assignment period, with potential additional requirements depending on the number of holidays.
Floating to other units within the facility/scope of practice may be necessary
Compliance Requirements
Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary for timely start. Non-compliance could result in delays due to orientation scheduling.
