Human Resources Generalist, Payroll and Recruitment

HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact to management for corrective action review and corresponding documentation generation.
Conduct supervisory and managerial developmental trainings.
Serve as point of contact for personnel related matters (policy interpretation/explanation, payroll inquiries, FMLA & Short-Term Disability, 401k, benefits).
Facilitate Worker's Compensation (WC) incident investigations and ensure the relevant supporting documentation is provided to HR.
Assist the HR Assistant in the recruitment function, when necessary
Communicate with WC Claims Adjuster and Program Nurses.
Facilitate grievance hearings for BCTGM Local 68 unionized members.
Maintain administrative trackers and take the appropriate action, when applicable.
Review/Enter information in sub-systems pertaining to WC, FMLA.
Bachelor's Degree (Preferred: Business Administration, Business Management, HR Management)
Three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience or equivalent transferable experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Desire to learn a multitude of computer-based applications and software
