Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses including chemistry, hematology, and immunology while adhering to established guidelines.

Evaluate test results for precision, rectify discrepancies, and ensure the reliability of laboratory equipment through regular maintenance and calibration.

Assist in the collection of specimens and ensure proper sample preparation for testing procedures.

Thoroughly document processes, mentor new personnel or students, and help to sustain the high standards of lab quality.

Uphold a tidy, safe working environment and follow all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Obtained ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within a healthcare team.

Demonstrated ability to make independent judgments and solve problems, especially in high-pressure situations.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, particularly regarding quality control and record keeping.
