Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure test accuracy by meticulously analyzing outcomes, troubleshooting inconsistencies, and performing regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens, preparing them for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document all lab procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest quality standards within the lab.
• Keep a tidy and safe work area, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Continuous certification maintenance is required throughout your employment.
