Description – What You'll Do

• Carry out both routine and sophisticated laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering strictly to established guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of results through careful analysis, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary, contributing to a smooth workflow.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, and take an active role in training new staff members as well as upholding rigorous quality standards.
• Create a safe, tidy working environment, ensuring all regulation and accreditation standards are met.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification with ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of hire.
• Must maintain current certification throughout your employment with us.
