Description What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, strictly following established guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of your findings, investigate discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Provide assistance in specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for further testing as required.
• Thoroughly document every procedure, train new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining the high-quality standards of the lab.
• Keep a well-organized, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve the ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain certification for the duration of your employment.
