In 2023 Velaris was launched as an inventive laboratory-automation platform. Including trusted global brands Skalar Analytical, headquartered in the Netherlands, PromoChrom, based in Canada, LCTech GmbH, situated in Germany, EST Analytical, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, TSHR, from the Netherlands, Gerstel GmbH with the HQ in Germany TE Instruments in Delft, Markes Internatinal in Bridgend (UK) and LNI Swissgass in Torreglia (Italy) it provides innovative chemistry analysers, expertise in automated sample-preparation solutions, consumables and robotics for laboratories in environmental, agricultural, petrochemical and other applications.
For our North American organization we are looking for a fulltime dynamic and indepent Human Resource Manager than can run our HR organization in North America. Are you the no nonse candidate that has at least 5 years of relevant experience in an international matrix organization we would like to meet you and see if we can be the good fit for this position.

HR Strategy & Operations: Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies and procedures across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Taking care of executing the yearly HR calendar.
Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring the hiring of top talent for various departments and roles across the company. Collaborate with hiring managers to assess needs, create job descriptions, and streamline recruitment processes.
Employee Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution support. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting employee engagement and retention.
Ensure human resource compliance with federal, numerous state, and local laws. Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and compliance status.
Performance Management: Support the performance management process across locations, helping managers with employee development, coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations. Experience in top grading organisations. Training & Development: Identify training and development needs and implement programs that enhance skills, productivity, and career growth for employees across all facilities.
Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with leadership and external vendors to administer compensation and benefits programs, including pay structures, bonuses, health benefits, and retirement plans, etc.. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, department heads, and other HR team members to ensure a unified approach to employee satisfaction and organizational success.
Recruitment and onboarding: Responsible for the hiring process from recruiting to onboarding (includes applicant tracking, pre-employment, assessments, offer letter, background checks, and new hire forms).
Engagement Survey: Provide guidance and support to Site Leaders on actions and tasks from the yearly Engagement Survey. Work closely with the HR Leader on formulation of key topics if any regarding employee engagement.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally with exposure to managing HR operations across multiple facilities in an international environment.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred).
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Italian labor laws. Familiarity with HR systems and MS Office.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Leadership: Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in managing HR teams and guiding organizational change.
