Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN Physician)

Permanent Physician - Hospitalist - OB
Position Type : Permanent
Specialty : Physician - Hospitalist - OB
Location : CO.
Shift : Nocturnist shifts, 7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.

Position Details:
Patient Population : Obstetric and gynecologic inpatient population including laboring patients and postpartum care
Setting : Inpatient hospital OB/GYN unit
Responsibilities: Provide overnight inpatient obstetric care; labor management and deliveries; postpartum care; manage gynecologic consults; urgent assessments; emergency obstetric response; collaborate with OB/GYN team and multidisciplinary staff; documentation in EMR; participate in quality initiatives and team handoffs
Required Procedures : Labor management, deliveries, obstetric emergency response, gynecologic consults
EMR System : Epic
Support Staff : OB/GYN physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), multidisciplinary specialty teams
Days Per Month : 6 12 shifts/month
On-Call/Weekends : In-house overnight coverage; shifts may include weekends
Submission Requirements:

Board Certified in OB/GYN
Colorado license (or willing to obtain)
DEA prior to start
NPDB Self Query Report and clean malpractice history preferred
