Job Description Blackhawk Community Credit Union began in 1965 with the Fisher Body Division of General Motors- Janesville and office employees of UAW Local 95. Position could float to any credit union branch, with the exception of our Kenosha location.
Eight hour shifts between the hours of 8:15 am - 5:45 pm Monday through Friday; An average of two Saturdays per month between the hours of 8:15 am - 12:30 pm

Job Classification: Full Time
Welcomes members into the branch and provides friendly, helpful service that promotes financial education while using expert knowledge in deposit and convenient services products to process a variety of financial inquiries accurately and efficiently, account openings, service requests, and transactions. Secures credit union assets, balances transactions, and completes necessary reports.

Provides friendly, helpful service that promotes financial discipline through:

• Recommending the best solution or guiding the member to the appropriate staff to accomplish the member’s needs and strengthen their financial well-being.
• Utilizes expert knowledge in deposit and convenient services products to process routine consumer and business financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and purchase of negotiable instruments.
• Fulfills member service requests including account maintenance, research, reconciliation, and correction.
• Secures the credit union’s assets by handling cash and negotiable instruments in a consistent manner, properly identifying members, keeping member information confidential, balancing at the end of each business day, and completing necessary reports that summarize daily activities.
• Maintains up to date knowledge and adheres to all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards that pertain to this position.
• Complete required annual BSA training to ensure you understand your responsibilities that apply to BSA, including:
• CIP (Customer Identification Program)
• OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control)
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to accomplish the described responsibilities using computers and technology.
Occasional business travel.
