Shifts may be variable; if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital, the facility will do their best to honor the traveler's preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate if necessary.Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Job SummaryThis is a travel nursing assignment on the HVTI-Stepdown unit at a major hospital main campus, with potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide step-down nursing care on the HVTI-Stepdown unit.Float to units J1-2, J33, and ED as needed to care for the same patient population.Work at least every other holiday.Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.Education RequirementsMust have a permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of placement.AHA or client BLS certification required.ACLS certification required.NIHSS certification required.Required ExperienceMinimum 12 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty applying for (Step Down) is required.Work Environment / Physical RequirementsCOVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions considered.Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions considered.Important NotesECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation.
