Accounting Book Keeper Work From Home Remote Job

We are seeking a professional Bookkeeper to join a growing team in Travelers Rest, SC . This position is open to both experienced bookkeepers and recent accounting graduates looking to begin their career in public accounting. This is a full time, HYBRID , permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of QuickBooks and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple clients
Maintain general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
Generate financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Support payroll processing and payroll tax filings as applicable
Assist with sales tax filings and compliance
Provide support for tax preparation and external audits as needed
Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting OR 1-2 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
Experience/exposure with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Hours:
Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
Fridays are REMOTE (Work from home)

Compensation & Benefits :
$45,000 - $50,000
