T-Journeyman Lineman

Job Title
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform energized and de-energized line work on transmission and distribution systems
Install and maintain poles, crossarms, transformers, insulators, and conductors
Lead complex work tasks, including switching, phasing, and troubleshooting outages
Perform rubber glove and/or hot stick work as qualified
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and utility standards
Direct and guide lower-level crew members on job tasks
Conduct job briefings and enforce safe work practices
Inspect completed work for quality and compliance
Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, tools, and equipment
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with DOT/FMCSA vehicle and safety requirements
Requirements

Journeyman Lineman certification or equivalent verifiable experience
Extensive experience in overhead and/or underground distribution systems
CDL Class A required
Proficiency in energized work methods (rubber glove, hot stick, etc.)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, NESC, and DOT/FMCSA regulations
Working Conditions

Work is performed outside in all types of weather environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, climb, stoop, stand, and lift for long periods of time.
Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers.
Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.
