Swanger Prickett LLP is seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate Attorney to join their team in Austin, Texas, dedicated primarily to the firm’s corporate and CRE transactional practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Transactional law, with a focus on CRE and corporate matters. This position allows for the opportunity for significant mentorship and growth, as the firm relies on an open-door policy. The position also offers significant engagement with clients, early responsibility, and professional development in key legal areas.
Conduct legal research and analysis
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, loan agreements, and corporate filings
Assist in the preparation and presentation of legal arguments
Advise clients on a wide range of legal issues
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas (or eligible for immediate bar admission)
1-5 years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on commercial real estate and/or corporate law
Strong academic record and excellent research and writing skills
Experience with CRE/Corporate law, e.g., real estate development, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, etc.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Clio, and Adobe Acrobat [preferred/required]
Experience with AI and LLM within a legal practice is preferred
This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, PTO, and a salary range of $110,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
