Key Responsibilities of the HR Generalist

Manage day-to-day Human Resources activities for a workforce of 300+ employees

Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment

Support workers' compensation and short-term disability administration

Maintain employee information and HR documentation within the HRIS

Utilize ADP for HRIS and payroll-related activities

Maintain HR reporting, employee data, and manual tracking through Excel

Maintain compliance with applicable employment policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Respond to employee questions and resolve HR-related issues in a timely and empathetic manner

Maintain accurate personnel records and confidential employee documentation

Partner directly with executive leadership regarding employee matters and HR initiatives

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, reporting, documentation, and overall efficiency

Qualifications for the HR Generalist

• 35+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience
• Hands-on experience with benefits administration and employee relations required
• Experience supporting workers' compensation, leave administration, onboarding, terminations, and HR compliance
• Manufacturing, light industrial, or similar workforce experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with an HRIS; Strong Excel skills and comfort maintaining HR reports and employee data
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage a broad HR workload
