General Job Description
Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for a Practical Nursing Adjunct who is responsible for instructing students in the classroom, laboratory, and at clinical sites under the direction of PN faculty.

Education/Experience

Current unencumbered professional license as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

At least two (2) years full-time experience in a clincial setting providing direct patient care as an RN required, within the last five years.

Master's Science degree in nursing preferred.

Current American Heart Association, BLS certification required.

Updated immunization record required for clinical sites.

Duties

Supervises nursing students in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.

Instructs curriculum, records attendance, grades assignments and tests.

Guides clinical practice of students.

Maintains accurate records.

Follows all guidelines for instruction as set forth by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, or other governing agencies.

Instructs and assists in the safe operation and care of equipment and materials used in the classroom and laboratory settings.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Reports to
Practical Nursing Coordinator and/or Site Director

Supervises
Only the supervision of practical nursing students.
