American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for a long-term care facility, requiring an active NY license (if applicable) and 1+ year of LTC/skilled nursing experience.
Details

Long-term care unit within a 300-bed state/government-run facility offering rehabilitation, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care services
Cares for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia
Patient ratio of approximately 1:18-20
Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (6:45 PM-7:15 AM)
Every other weekend required upon center request
Uses PointClickCare (PCC) charting system, though experience is not required for consideration
Requirements

Active NY State LPN/LVN license required if applicable
Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience required
Current BLS certification required
Must pass a medication administration (med pass) test and clinical observation
Must be an American citizen; Canadian citizens cannot be accepted
One verified professional reference required for consideration, with a second required prior to contract start
Strong attendance, punctuality, and flexibility with scheduling required
Additional Information

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and perform accurate medication passes
Monitor and report changes in resident condition
Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
Supervise CNAs on assigned units
Shifts begin 15 minutes early and end 15 minutes late to accommodate handoff
Orientation occurs every two weeks and cannot be missed
Attire includes any solid-colored scrubs with closed-toe shoes
Free parking is available on-site
Relias training modules must be completed no later than 3 days prior to assignment start
Requested time off must be approved at time of submission; holiday RTO will not be approved after start
First-time travelers are accepted
Local candidates are accepted
