HR Recruiter - Hourly

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our HR team as an HR Recruiter & Coordinator.
This role is pivotal in fostering a positive and inclusive company culture while ensuring the acquisition of top talent through effective recruiting practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing recruiting strategies, maintaining compliance with HR regulations, onboarding, contributing to the overall success of our hiring initiatives and organizing company events.
Position Responsibilities Attend career fairs, industry conferences, and networking events to source and attract qualified candidates actively.
Screen candidates by thoroughly reviewing resumes and job applications and conducting phone screenings; conduct reference checks as necessary.
Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, industry associations, and other relevant organizations to build a strong talent pipeline.
Implement effective and innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse candidates and ensure a competitive edge in the construction industry.
Work closely with company managers to understand their hiring needs, requirements and recruitment strategies.
Conduct thorough and effective interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit within the organization.
Stay abreast of HR regulations and ensure compliance with all hiring practices and job descriptions.
Manage the company’s performance evaluation platform and schedule hourly employee performance reviews.
Collaborate with the Safety Department to assist with onboarding orientation and tracking employee training courses.
Event Planning Coordinate and execute engaging company events to enhance team collaboration, employee morale, and workplace culture.
Experience in event logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and creative event design is crucial.
Job Requirements High school diploma.
2 years’ experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Excellent candidate development, interviewing, assessment, negotiation, and communication skills.
Knowledgeable in the utilization of social media, blogs, career fairs, job sites, and other resources to find qualified candidates.
Ensure the company complies with laws and regulations as it relates to online sourcing, staffing, and hiring practices.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
