What You'll Do:

Provide high-quality nursing care for hematology, medical oncology, BMT, and gynecologic/surgical oncology patients

Assist with bedside CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies

Utilize Epic electronic medical record to document patient care efficiently

Administer medications using barcode medication administration systems

Manage IV pumps and SCD machines in a fast-paced oncology setting

Float to support staffing as needed, including weekend coverage every other week

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

What You Need:

Valid Louisiana RN license or ability to obtain

BLS certification; ACLS preferred

Minimum 1 year of recent oncology or related nursing experience

Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care

Ability to adapt to emergency response roles if required, including staying at the facility during events
