Cardiologist Pediatrics

Pediatric CardiologistWest Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be a member of the southern West Virginia community and be expected to practice at outreach clinic sites, in the areas of Beckley, Princeton, and/or Morgantown, as an extension of WVU Medicine Golisano Children's Heart Center of Excellence.The successful candidate will join our growing Division of Pediatric Cardiology supporting our robust pediatric cardiology outreach program that includes outreach clinics, telemedicine clinics, and outreach diagnostic testing. We currently have specialists in the areas of general cardiology, advanced imaging, interventional catheterization, noninvasive and invasive electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, and preventive cardiology.Duties: The successful candidate will practice in all areas of Pediatric Cardiology. Duties will include outpatient clinics, emergency department, inpatient consults, and call from home for surrounding system hospitals. In addition to providing excellent patient care, he or she will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.Qualifications: Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Candidates must be board certified / eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank.
