Nurse - Addictions Medicine
Schedule

• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• MOAB certification (training provided during orientation)
• Detox/MAT experience
• CIWA/withdrawal assessment experience
• Medication administration experience (Suboxone/methadone)
• IV starts/maintenance experience

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct detox assessments and monitoring for adults and geriatrics with opioid use disorder (OUD), alcohol withdrawal, and poly-substance use.
• Administer Suboxone inductions, methadone medication passes, and monitor detox progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for patient care and support.
• Perform rounds for detox and medication administration, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in the electronic medical record system.

• Background check required
• Drug screen required within 30 days of start
• No local candidates accepted within a 100-mile radius
• Documentation due 10 days prior to start
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• COVID vaccine optional
• MOAB required training during orientation for travelers without prior certification
