Eat Better Meals is a growing meal-prep company specializing in fresh, high-protein, health-focused meals . We are looking for an experienced, motivated Chef to join our team and play an important role in preparing high-quality meals for our growing customer base.

THE ROLE We are looking for a chef who enjoys cooking healthy, flavorful food at production scale and takes pride in consistency, quality, and presentation.

You will be responsible for preparing meals according to our recipes and nutritional specifications while helping maintain an efficient and organized kitchen operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and cook high-volume meal-prep recipes

Follow established recipes, portion sizes, and nutritional specifications

Maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation

Prepare proteins, vegetables, grains, sauces, and other meal components

Properly portion and organize prepared food for packaging

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen

Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures

Monitor food quality, freshness, and inventory

Help with menu preparation and recipe development

Work efficiently to meet weekly production deadlines

Assist with improving recipes, preparation methods, and kitchen efficiency

Work closely with ownership and the kitchen team

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional cooking or culinary experience required

Experience with meal prep, catering, commissary, or high-volume food production is a strong plus

Strong understanding of food preparation and sanitation

Ability to consistently follow recipes and portion specifications

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable, dependable, and able to work as part of a team

Culinary degree or formal culinary training is a plus, but not required
