Job Description L&W Recruiting is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a nationally active plaintiff-side law firm that focuses exclusively on mesothelioma and asbestos-related cancer claims. This firm, whose name will be shared upon mutual interest, is looking for a motivated attorney to join its Philadelphia, PA office. The Role:

• Take ownership of a dedicated caseload of mesothelioma and asbestos cancer cases in the Philadelphia market
• Interview clients to gather detailed work and asbestos exposure histories; coordinate with the firm’s investigative staff
• Prepare and file complaints, discovery, motions, and appellate documents
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings
• Work directly with oncologists, occupational medicine experts, and other specialists to build compelling cases
• Serve as a trusted legal resource for clients and families navigating a devastating illness

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar admission required; additional state bar licensure a plus
• Prior experience in plaintiff personal injury, toxic tort, asbestos, or mass tort litigation preferred
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload with sensitivity, precision, and compassion
• Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and client-service skills
• VA-accreditation or interest in veterans’ disability claims is a bonus
