Head of Operations & Business Management

Zinn Insurance is entering its next stage of growth.

We are hiring a Director of Operations who will grow into a true second-in-command role by taking ownership of how the business runs.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is a scale-stage opportunity for an operator who enjoys building structure, creating accountability, and turning complexity into consistent execution.

You will not inherit a perfectly built operation.

You will inherit moving parts, inconsistency, and opportunity.

Your role is to bring structure, clarity, discipline, and operational excellence to it.

Direct partnership with the CEO

The purpose of this role is to build the structure, leadership, and operating rhythms necessary for sustainable growth while reducing founder dependency.

Decision rights and accountability structures
KPI discipline and performance visibility
Capacity planning and resource allocation
Operational risk identification and mitigation
Continuous improvement across all divisions

You are not here to manage activity.
You are here to design, enforce, and continuously improve how the business operates.

CEO involvement in day-to-day operations is significantly reduced
Enjoy building systems that outlast individual effort

5+ years in Operations, Business Operations, Practice Management, or Operations Leadership
~ Insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, financial services, or another regulated service environment strongly preferred
