The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Reporting to the Director of Earnings Controls, this role will support the identification, prioritization, and mitigation of operational and financial risks across contractor earnings, tax operations, and supporting technology systems. You'll collaborate with cross -functional partners across Finance, Controllership, Legal, Tax, Engineering, Product, Compliance, and business operations to help design and implement controls. You'll contribute to translating complex regulatory and financial requirements into operational guardrails that protect both the company and our contractor partners.

The Earnings Controls function sits within the broader Spark Driver Earnings organization and plays a critical role in strengthening the integrity, scalability, and reliability of Walmart's gig-economy operations. Our team designs and governs control frameworks that support accurate, compliant earnings disbursements and responsible business execution for Walmart's independent contractor ecosystem. We focus on business-process and operational controls across areas such as earnings calculations, tax withholding and reporting, identity verification, onboarding, payment disbursements, and contractor compliance.
